My name is Shiju, and my life’s work has been rooted in honoring people’s full humanity, and I bring that same commitment to every ceremony I lead. Kharisma Ceremonies exists because you deserve a ceremony that reflects who you are — not someone else’s idea of how it should look.

As a longtime advocate, storyteller, and community‑centered leader, I’ve spent my career creating spaces where people feel seen, affirmed, and valued. My background in civil rights, culture‑building, and compassionate public service has taught me how to hold complexity with grace and how to meet people exactly where they are, across identities, faiths, cultures, and lived experiences.

I approach officiating from a humanist perspective: grounded, inclusive, and deeply respectful of the many ways people make meaning. Whether you’re celebrating love, welcoming a child, blessing a home, or honoring a life transition, I bring warmth, clarity, and intention to the moment. My goal is simple — to create a ceremony that feels like you: authentic, heartfelt, and held with care.

People describe me as a charismatic speaker, a thoughtful listener, and a steady presence. I believe in crafting ceremonies that are not only beautiful, but that leave you and your loved ones feeling supported, affirmed, and at peace.
